Blurb: The Devil’s Charter takes us to a dark time in the Roman Catholic church, when Rodrigo Borgia sells his soul to become Pope Alexander VI. Upon ascension, Alexander must deal with invading French armies and the deadly quarreling of his children – ambitious Caesar, murderous Lucretia, and noble Candy. Covering roughly the same timeline as Showtime’s The Borgias, this play brings you what that show was afraid to: lots of devils and witchcraft.

Content warning: sexual captivity, sexual assault

A bitter and powerful flavor redolent of ambition and betrayal.
